I know most people hated the dubbing but I don't think it effected the movie that much.I mean if they did sub. intead of dub. some ppl. might not have been able to follow all of the words.Anyways I think it was alittle better than the anime, and it followed the story close enough.All in all It was a good movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Now I used to roll my eyes at ppl. who always said "The book was better.", but in this case I think it was.Don't get me wrong it is very good and they stayed true to the major parts of the movie.I just thought the addition of henchmen was a little much, same for the amp wars with the twins that replaced the robot fight scene. Also steven Stills was not gay at the end of the movie.So yeah, if your a fan of the book you might still like this. Just try to remember they were also trying to appeal to non-fans who wouldn't notice the changes.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
