I read other reviews, so I imagine if you've read the book, the movie will not be as rich of an experience as it was for me. I really enjoyed the journey. It was very emotional and relatable. I was able to connect with Julia Roberts' character (Liz) and feel the growth she experienced along the way. I think it's definitely worth checking out on the big screen.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
