The book Eat, Pray, Love was awesome. The movie missed the mark.
The movie really portrayed Liz Gilbert as a woman who couldn't live without a man and in Italy she was unhappy without a many and in India she was unhappy without a man and in Bali she finally found a man. I think this was really not the point the book was trying to make.
I love Julia Roberts and the Javier was great too, but disappointed in the movie. I would encourage my daughters to read the book, but I wouldn't let them watch the movie. Not the correct message at all.
It was long and boring and I sat through it to be disappointed. It is a shame because such a strong statement could have been made!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
