I thought this was a great summer action movie and I really appreciated the omission of brutal gore in the fighting. The story was well done, the acting was excellent and the special effects enhanced the story without becoming the main attraction. I saw it in 3D and I don't think that I would have just because there were not many 3D effects.
This movie has a gothic overall feel to it, but I was not enaged by the characters at all and the story dragged out and was convoluted. Wait for the DVD.
AWESOME! Like many super-hero movies, the X-Men series had started to get cheesy. Wolverine goes back to being a gritty, action-packed movie that had me on the edge of my seat. The cast was great, the special effects were stunning and not overdone (well, for a super-hero action movie). I hope that the Origins series continues.
I loved Batman Returns and was eagerly looking forward to the Dark Knight, but I was disappointed. This movie is a series of "I fooled you, you fooled me" twists that gets pretty boring in the first hour. The moral dilemma that the characters face is overdone. Heath Ledger was excellent and the only real emotion this movie evoked was one of sadness that his life was cut short.
This was a good action movie, but it didn't live up the hype. I had heard that this was the best superhero movie ever. I think Spiderman, Batman The Dark Night, and X-Men were all better. The special effects were good and the actors played their parts well. It is worth seeing in the theater.
10,000 BC lived up to the special effects hype. I enjoyed the storyline although it was slow in the beginning. I could have done without the narration. This is a fun movie to see in the theater.
