The violence was over the top for a Will Farrell comedy. The credits at the end of the movie were fabulous; so it would have been nice if the plot had been made clearer in general to tie to that theme. When Farrell figured out what was really going while he was walking the beat, the couple of lines he delivered to explain what he found to his partner and his Captain were almost lost in the chaos. Maybe that's why some folks say there was no plot.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
