This was the best movie I saw all year. I did not read the book so I had no expectations. I thought the story line was interesting, it was romantic, the actors were good, and if you did not read the book, you could not figure out how it would end. It was not overly violent and not trashy at all. Well Done!! You could see this with your mom or child and not be uncomfortable.My daughter read the book and she did not like it as much as I did. I can see how that could happen.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
