We enjoyed this movie quite a bit. I love Shia LaBeouf and he did a good job. His parents had more of a role this time and they were wonderful; ranging from just hysterical to bringing you to tears. It was quite an action movie - in fact, they could have shortened the movie by about 1/2 an hour by cutting some of the robot/human or robot/robot battles scenes. Enough is enough! Also, it seemed a lot of the time the director was trying to make this the Megan Fox show - posing her this way and that and having her stare up at the camera. Didn't really fit with everything else going on. I guess the guys liked it though. Still, all in all, a good summer movie!
Just suspend logical thinking - okay, how did they explain all that broken glass, museum damage, etc. - and sit back and enjoy this movie. Like the first Night at the Museum, this one is funny, has a good amount of action in it, and the visuals are great! Amy Adams is a joy to watch and Ben Stiller was actually better in this one than he was in the first (and I liked the first one!) The rest of the cast was very good too. This is really a great "get a big box of popcorn and let yourself be transported out of the real world" summer movie.
