It was everything I like to go to a movie for: fun, entertaining, engaging, and light. Rachel McAdams was delightful. My biggest disappointment was with Jeff Goldblum. He was so funny in The Switch and I expected more of that, but it never happened. I thought Diane Keaten and Harrison Ford were great as usual. I also really enjoyed the music-Strip Me (Natasha Beddingfiled) and Change of Seasons (Sweet Thing). So, bottom line: will it win any awards?--NO, but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Best movie I have seen in a long time! Took my 11 and 12 year old and we all fell in love with it. Even though you know the horse is going to win, you get caught up in every race! And the strength of Penny Tweedy Chereny is truly inspirational! For a woman in the late 60s, early 70s to accomplish what she did is remarkable (it would be remarkable today, but even more so back then) John Malkovich brings a wonderful quirkiness to the movie, which made it even more endearing. A movie for all ages!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I went to see this movie on a date with my husband and was pleasantly surprised. It was engaging and never once did I look at my watch to see if it was almost over!
