Long but good story

Inception is a generally solid movie with exceptional use of effects practical or otherwise. Its a visually stunnning mindbender of of a movie with The Matrix being its closest/ most recent comparison in terms of bending storytelling and perceptions of reality. The dream sequences and the way physical changes in dreams effect others along with the ever-chaning conception of time and place make it incredibly interesting to watch. Unfortunately outside of of Dicaprio's and Cotillard's character's relationship the characters are fairly rote and cliched, though certainly entertaining. It's not going to surprise you in terms of dramatic storytelling, but for the previously mentioned positives it's certainly a must see and a visual spectacle of a heist movie. Also, a pretty solid and bombastic sore from Hans Zimmer that helps greatly in maintaining the atmosphere of the movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
