I feel like this review may not be fair as Salt sits in Inception's shadow, but I was thoroughly disappointed with Salt. The best means of comparison that I can think of is to liken this to a bad version of the TV show '24.' Plots about Presidential assassinations and nuclear war are tired and overused and there is nothing extra or interesting to make this movie stand out from anything else you've already seen. Angelina plays a great Russian, but the character is, by nature, emotionless and pretty boring. The effects aren't anything special either and Salt is, at best, a rental when you have nothing -- and I mean nothing -- better to do.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
