I teach 3rd graders and read the Ramona series every year. I could recognize the characters before they were called by name. This was excellent. Pieces from each Ramona book were sprinkled in and it was delightful. It was sweet and innocent without the big kid bad attitude that is in so many children's movies today. An absolute must see for Beverly Cleary book lovers!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
