I went to Inception with incredibly high expectations, as all our friends had raved about it. We hired a babysitter, so there was an extra $30 riding on the film.
I was not disappointed! This movie was flawless, exciting, intruiging, mind-blowing, humorous, sentimental, devastating, heart-warming... Possibly the best movie, in concept and visuals, since The Matrix, with more heart.
I would recommend it to all, and I will definitely be seeing it again. I saw it in IMAX, which was spectacular.
The first 20 minutes of the movie, I was a bit lost but enjoying the ride. Through the genius construct of a new team member, the audience was filled in on the back story and basic concepts. After we caught up, the complicated plot was surprisingly easy to follow. Every moment was beautifully shot, every interaction a jewel of insight or humor.
