After reading scathing reviews, I had low expectations of Oz the Great and Powerful. Instead, I thought it was a fun film, and a good story. Our family discussed the issues in the film after viewing which showed it was a good film.
Pros great story, great actors

Loved it! Remember the original fondly from years ago. The Tim Burton remake was not great. I thought this was a great way to show how the apes became intelligent. Also, great effects and overall the family loved it!
