lots laughs, little crazy, fun story

We took the neighborhood to see Despicable Me. 14yr old boys said they came in expecting the movie to be lame, but enjoyed it and found several quotes that will enter their vocabulary. 8-13 mixed boys and girls had a blast. Adults enjoyed it (my wife stayed awake for the whole movie). As long as you're willing to go with the movie's premise (super arch villian living next door) then the characters are enjoyable and the minions are good balance of comic relief.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
