This movie really tugged at the heart strings! Although Gru's intentions for adopting the 3 orphan girls were negative to start, the more time he spent with them; the more they melted his heart! And, in the end, he chose his "3 little kittens" over his evil ways. It is a classic good triumphs over evil movie. The only negative comment I have is the way women were portrayed in the movie. Gru's mom was unable to be pleased until the end of the movie, and the director of the girls' orphanage was unpleasant too.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
