J.J. Abrams has said, " If I had one criticism of the original Star Trek, it’s that the show was often a lot of discussion about things that were happening and not a lot of action depicting it."
I guess he doesn't understand Star Trek at all. How they ever let a man like this direct this movie is beyond me.
Roddenberry's vision was to have mankind resolve their problems WITHOUT killing, WITHOUT action and WITHOUT violence.
All the killing in this movie is senseless and distasteful.
Abrams will never have Roddenberry's vision of the future.
