Magical effects, nice homage to the Fantasia sequence... Jay Baruchel was very convincing as a nerd. The rest of it was ho-hum summer season film. If you run out of other films to see and have to see a film with your friends, go ahead and see it. If you can only see one film this summer, this isn't it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
