Inception Failed to Take Me Where I Needed To Go

This is a second-rate, poorly written movie masquerading as a high concept film. There is little to no character development, the script follows a Q&A format almost from beginning to end, and at some point you just have to ask why you should care. I know a lot of people liked it, but I think the special effects successfully overrode much of the audience's desire for a substantial film that requires true engagement. Much of Inception is genuinely laughable.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
