What a cinematic experience!

I was skeptical about paying the extra $ to see this movie in 3D - I mean, it's not an action flick,right? Well, right it is...the 3D, that is. It is so very well done. I doubt that many PG movie attendees (the young set) will be able to sit through the story, but it is well worth it. In my ignorance, I didn't know the story of early movies,much less Georges Melies, but I thoroughly enjoyed the education. My 20 year old son that just graduated from a Digital Animation school gave this one high marks as well.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Great Story

Attended with husband and 20yo that just completed animation school. We all agreed both the story and VFX were VERY well done. I was intrigued with how well the nuances of 'real' cat behavior were so well done...the dancing superb!

Incredible graphics. I've got a fear of heights and even seeing the regular version I got a little dizzy. Wonderful story.
