a thought -provoking look at the current state of discourse on Darwinism and ID.
the movie shows the bias of the evolution (as origin of species) crowd against some well-educated and scholarly scientists who just happen to disagree with them. the Evolutionists seem unable to address the flaws in the evolution theory, and unwilling to entertain the inquiries of those who might take the investigation in another direction.
this movie also shows the danger in present day academia where free speech is suppressed and honest inquiry crushed. The image of the Berlin Wall is an apt symbol of the situation.
Ben Stein shows the outcome of this climate of intolerance leading to the atrocities of Germany in the 1930's +. With his usual deadpan affect, Ben Stein, takes viewers through his personal journey with many amusing, moving and disturbing insights.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
