IMAX movies tend to always be enjoyable to me, so I was pleased that Inception took pleasure in filling the entire cinema with a stunning aural environment with plenty of visual eye candy.
Chris Nolan (director) has done it again, exhibiting his genius in this new SciFi creation. More than a meticulously crafted movie, Inception is an experience. The visual effects are incredibly fun and goes without saying (if you've seen the trailer for the film). There is just enough character development that lets you enjoy the film and leaves you wanting to come back again. The storyline interweaves through several threads, or layers, and holds you transfixed throughout. While the pace in some of the parts is a bit inconsistent, the hour-long climax before the finale is a rollercoaster that leaves you thinking--a rare treat for movies these days. Do see this film in IMAX.
