I took my kids to this movie not knowing that much about it. My son, 9, has read all the books and told me "We HAVE to go see it." I was so sucked in to the story in the first 10 minutes. I loved it! My daughter loved it too (she didn't know the story either). Cool special effects, pretty good acting, really clever...I want to read the books myself now. Have to see what happens next. Go see it!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
