I wanted to like this movie more than I actually did. It was a sweet story and has beautiful animation. Just not sure the plot line is all that riveting, especially for little ones. A parent in my row fell asleep half way through the movie. Liked "The Incredibles" much more.
We saw it in 2D, and my six-year-old is now begging me to see it again - in 3D. There are definitely sequences (roller coaster scene, bonus footage at the end, during the credits) that would be 100% better in 3D, so I'm somewhat inclined to indulge her, though I'll probably beg a grandparent to take her, because I'm not sure I can sit through it again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
