Skyline SkySUCKS!

This movie is not worth your time or money. 3/4 of the movie is spent inside a business office type apartment with the so called "stars" of the movie playing "peek-a-boo" through shaded windows. The first 30 minutes is dreadful and is a miserable attempt at character development. Camera work was awful on this film. The only really good parts were when the air force and army FINALLY appeared and attempted to kick some serious butt and took their best shot with stealth fighters and a nuke. Not worth it thought...too little too late!!

A True Story Nightmare!

Always intrigued by movies based on true stories, I couldn't miss this one. A big fan of Swank, I knew she would deliver and she should at least get a nomination for her outstanding performance in Conviction. Very emotional and gut wrenching at times as you come to realize that our justice system is not perfect and that there really can be disturbing corruption by crooked cops out to satisfy their personal ego at any cost, even at the cost of the innocent. If you go see this movie, prepare yourself for a "True Story Nightmare" that will leave you both sad and relieved.

DUE to make you laugh!

Very well done! The "Two and a Half Men" the half being the dog, and the journey they take cross country to LA in time for the birth of Downey's first baby, will be a trip you'll never forget with laughs that will bust your gut! Don't miss it!

Endearing, Memorable & Touching

Started off a bit slow, but after the first 20 minutes or so, you start getting engrossed into the different relationships and character development. Interesting to learn more about the Indian culture and expectations when they choose to marry outside of their ethnicity. Some really good acting here, not to mention some really great looking chicks :-) The soundtrack throughout the film was good (Indian). The music was nicely balanced and really helped to touch your emotions in many of the scenes. The movie is subtitled in English in some of the scenes since the characters are mainly Indian and French, but if you don't mind occasional subtitles and appreciate foreign films, don't miss it!

Just as expected...

...nothing new, other than getting to see all the blood, gore and sadistic torture in 3D, but then again, I guess that is what it's all really about now-a-day. If it hadn't been for 3D, I probably wouldn't have even seen the movie because as with all sequels and parts 50 of ?? in horror movies, it's all about trying to out-gross the previous flick. If that's what your into, then go for it because this movie delivers that much at least.

Like Foreign Films?

Then you'll probably like this movie as almost all of it takes place in England and France. When in France, which is allot of the time, the film translates into English subtitle, so if your not "quick on your feet" to read what's going on, you'll miss allot. I personally like foreign films, but this one is very slow moving (the movie is over 2 hours!) and when the connection between three stories is finally made, the movie is quickly over, creating some unanswered questions. The opening scene is the best part of the move with great visual effects, but after that, it's just okay. Would have been better for TV. Wait for the DVD.

Non-Stop Action!

What a ride! I'll never get enough action from Brucey baby...way to go! Morgan is good too. While the movie obviously has allot of action, it also has some great laughs you won't want to miss. This one will find its way into my blu-ray collection for sure!

A useless cop movie

Although this movie had plenty of action, it was unnecessarily long trying to incorporate the useless role of law enforcement in the story line. If you were to take out that piece of the story the movie would have hummed along perfectly without it. With that said, this movie wasted allot of time trying to develop one story line that ended up going nowhere...what a waste! And Matt Dillon's acting was terrible.

Huh?

Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh? What the? Huh? What? Huh? What, huh, what? Oh...wait...what the?
Sorry...this is how I felt during the first 30 minutes before I finally just walked out and It takes allot for me to walk out of a movie. Probably because I hadn't seen any of the Twilight series, but even so, the slap stick humor was just plain stupid to me.
