In a word, SITC(2) was "glamorous"! I particularly lke the political correctness of it starting with the "ladies" attending (and participating) in a same-sex marriage ceremony. Either very PC or very clever to have cashed in on a definite " sign of the times" moment. Kudos. I also loved the underlining themes showcasing the power of relationships and love in the face of so much adversity, at times. The chemistry among the stellar cast of characters really clicks! It's real, very raw at times and so very revealing because the movie manages to say-out-loud what so many of us fail to say but we think it! Love that. Also, I liked that Carrie's (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) character appeared the most vunerable as a newlywed who grappled with and dared to show how emotionally fragile we all came be from time to time. Great story line. Another personal favorite (aside from Parker) is Kim Cattrall because she never disappoints when it comes to being real, extremely sexually 'raw' and resilient against society's imposed rules & regulations around the issue of sex---particulary women and sex. You go Samantha! Liberate us all! Yeah, everybody was just splendid to watch and the setting ---albeit Morocco and not the famed Abu Dhabi--- simply took my breath away. I should be so fortunate to one day experiece such a dream life like these ladies. BTW, I was cracking up at the end when the hotel suite was no longer "on the house", as it were. What a hoot! This is a MUST-SEE SUMMER MOVIE if ever there were. ...especially if you're going through any kind of friendship or relationship problems.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
