This movie and Horrible Bosses-two favorites of the year! I laughed my butt off and thats what everyone in this world today needs--a good laughing!!!!! Loved It.
It started off a little slow especially for our 5 year olds, but once those penguins started to arrive it was cute and funny as could be. I found myself laughing out loud so many times, I couldn't control it, Jim Carry made it so funny with his expressions. Those penguins were quite the hit. So I can say I honestly loved the movie and was surprized because it takes alot for me to laugh out loud like I did.
It was definitely a long journey--2hrs15min worth. I love seeing the different places. Italy was not pictured as beautiful as it really is, I was there last year. I found myself wishing we all had the money this lady had to just pick up and travel whenever we don't feel fullfilled. That would be a dangerous thought. Quite a few of us would be on a plane today.I enjoyed the movie, Julia makes any movie good to me, she is great.
I am a 63 year old straight woman and I enjoyed the movie. I laughed out loud quite a few times and I am not that easy to make me laugh. I am open minded though after all we are in 2010--the rating of R on the movie tells you exactly what to expect as far as language etc. so if you don.t agree with that you always have an option--the acting was great, my husband went with me and he laughed as well, so overall it was a good day out.
very creative movie--which I found to be adorable--thoroughly enjoyed it. Took my grandaughter--4years old and she couldn't take her eyes off of this movie. She liked it better than any other including Toy Story--she didn't get scared about certain parts like she does in other movies. Just a real pleasure to see.
I enjoyed this movie because it was full of action and It sure kept my attention, I laughed because Cameron made it funny and I have to say Cameron and Tom did a excellent job in this movie.
It wasen't a movie I would run to see but because of the reviews and awards I decided to go and yes it was hard to watch some parts but all in all it was a good movie, wished it would have ended differently but realistically it ended true to every day life. so yes, it is worth seeing and the singing and playing guitar from Jeff Bridges was great, and Colin Ferrall was easy on the eyes as well and Maggie did a good job too..
Best movie I have seen in a long time, brought a few tears to my eyes and a smile here and there but most of all I was so proud of Sandra Bullock's character for what she did for this young man. she and her family were incredibly kind and compasionate --we need more people like that in this world.
