Good, but not great.

Great use of visual effects; excellent character depiction of Mad Hatter and Alice.
Once again, Tim Burton uses visual effects to compensate for his inability to create a unique story or "twist" on a story ( otherwise why keep directing re-makes?!?) through his directing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
