The hair, makeup, wardrobe folks on this movie need to take up a different career. How did the director look at them while acting and think "yeah....that looks good". I didn't particularly like Bella's clothes either. A lot of close-ups in this movie. I found myself thinking how Kristen and Rob have no nose hair. I don't think I should be thinking about this during my first viewing of a movie. Maybe if I watched it a few times.... People laughed in the theater when Jackson Rathbone took center stage. He didn't do a very good job, and I was hoping he would. The scene where he is teaching everyone to fight "newborns" was laughable. It felt like they were reaching, trying to figure out ways to put a little more action into the movie (even if this scene is in the book). All-in-all the movie stayed close to the book. But I think stories like these are better off in book form after seeing this movie. A lot of cheesy dialogue.
