I was not a reader of these books, so i did not know the ending going in. The movie as a whole was very enjoyable (I have been a fan of all the HP movies) and a surprising amount of action. Only complaint is the end of movie and explanation had more holes than the BIble. I guess it is a "fantasy" movie so i'm not complaining. Must see for every Potter fan.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Great Action flick!

Obviously going to have some acting/character/plot flaws, but at least in the IMAX, it was one of the best action movies in ages. The car scenes were amazing and who hasn't dreamed of the Rock v. Diesel? Seriously!
Great movie to enjoy if you don't take things way to seriously and just like pure entertainment.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
