This movie had it all.....fantastic music, humor, a love story and hope in humanity as the message. Rapunzel was a delight, as was Flynn. Very well-written. We made it a girls day out and just went with my daughter and I and both of our best friends!!! But, I think my boys would have really enjoyed it too.
Fabulous movie......it had it all....laughs...tears....good for adults and kids both. It really hits home too if you have a teenager and have ever thought of the day they will move out....very touching and "true-to-life" on that part of it. With all the junk that's out there these days, this was something the family could all feel good about seeing together in every way. And we didn't even see it in 3D....too much money for the party of 6 we had w/ us....I'm sure it was even more fun in 3D. LOVED IT!!! People get too "thoughtful" sometimes and can ruin a good thing. Hard to believe there would be one bad review. I do have one thing to fault Disney movies for and that is that most of the movies involve single parents....and while that is fine sometimes, it doesn't need to be a prevailing ribbon in almost all of their movies (the Incredibles was one exception that comes to mind for a cartoon, but I'm sure they're others). Most of the audience-goers are from families fully in-tact, so what is Disney trying to say....it's better to have one parent, etc. It's just different and BOTH family units should be depicted.
