I took my 3 1/2 year old to see this and we both loved it. I have never seen either of the previous 2 Toy Story movies. But was familiar enough with the characters that it didn't really matter. It was funny, fast paced enough to keep a kid entertained, and it was sweet enough to make me cry. The time just flew by (the movie is almost 2 hours).
I want to watch the first 2 now!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
