Hathaway All the Way!

Fantastic visuals. We saw it in 3D, so that was even cooler. My wife says it was beautiful and refreshing, she was not disappointed. Depp was on the money and Anne Hathaway continues to be great in all her roles. If you're familiar with the story or not, but like a good looking well acted, creative movie, this is one to catch.

Retreat from the Theater

Big Vince Vaughn Fan, I quote Swingers all the time, bumped into him once in Chicago, and I was very much looking forward to this movie. Then I saw it. Very disappointed. I understand that it's a Date Movie, but the jokes were right out of a lame sitcom laugh track. I did have some chuckles, but I seemed to be the only one in the theater laughing at those moments. I've seen more from these actors, and I wanted more. Now I'm going to go see that Zombie movie.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Nyahh...Not So Much.

Willis is always solid, he is here too, but the movie left me wanting more. More everything, action especially. I'm sure anyone who sees it on cable or rents it for a buck would be fine with it, I was disappointed. Maybe this will get me to the store to read the Graphic Novel.

You're hooked right into this one with a low key, suspenseful opening arc with dialog that sets the tone for the entire flick. You might wince at some of the violence, and you will feel for the victims, while you laugh with the rest of the Soldiers.

Great Imaginations!

As a fan of the toys growing up, I didn't want this movie to be all Hollywood, all the time. I was happy with it. Lots of gadgets, cool weapons, a lot of great imagination went into this movie. I don't care about the acting or the writing, I want action, girl fights, fast planes, and Ninjas in my Summer movie, and I got them all!

This movie is a murder mystery, that involves global conspiracy. It's a movie with a lot of great, interesting characters, and some of them happen to be Super Heroes. Multiple love stories, family secrets, misplaced intentions, with great story telling, make this movie totally worth your dollars. Lots of stuff to keep your eyes happy as well as the part of your brain that likes compelling movies

Do you like movies about the Govt messing with the little guy? You'll like this one. The action keeps you in your seat and Shia's great. It made me think of "Flight of the Condor", without the books.
