Usually when I leave a theater I instantly think "Oh, this movie could have been so much better if...", but that never entered my head after The Dark Knight. There were no regretable casting choices, everyone seemed perfect for their roles; the action was intense, but not overly gory; and the storyline was solid (so rare in superhero movies!). Perhaps my only regret after seeing this movie, was the knowledge that Heath Ledger was dead and would be unable to reprise his amazing role as the Joker. If you loved Batman Begins, this movie will live up to your expectations; if you loved the Spider-man trilogy, be warned, this movie is darker and more intense!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
