Really funny - as good as the first

Saw at Imax which was really great. Saw with hubby and 2 19-year olds and we laughed out loud numerous times. Great special effects, don't need to have seen the first movie necessarily (but why wouldn't you?) - Ben Stiller is a master of sardonic humor. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Great if a Trekkie, just good for others

Thoroughly entertaining - if you are a Trekkie or even just a fan,; others may not enjoy it as much as they will not understand some of the humor and irony. But special effects are great, and the story is enjoyable enough as is. Would have loved to have seen Shatner in a cameo; great to see Nimoy.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
