This most "current" Star Trek film has it all. Excellent visual effects and sounds, plenty of action, just enough character plots, and what surprised me the most, lots of whistle blowing on current events (Boston bombings, Sandy Hook, Aurora shooting, etc.). For those of you out there who are truth seeking, free thinkers, this is a film to watch. Interesting how in this film we have a small element within Star Fleet which has a secretly hidden facility from where new technology has been developed. Interesting how an "unknown individual" has been given an alias in order to carry out "terror acts". Interesting how when Kirk and his crew find themselves in the middle of this "orchestration", they must now be "silenced" so no one back home knows what really has occurred. Interesting how all this stems from a small elements desire to "start an inevitable war" against the Klingons. But don't pay attention to all this! Complain about meaningless plot holes. It's only a movie. Right?
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
Yes, I recommend this movie.

BRUCE LEE!!! Need I say more?

There have been many Bruce Lee documentaries, and this one is right up there, if not the best one. The interviews with the many recognizable personalities were a breath of fresh air, reflective and informative. Seeing that Ed O'Neill (Married with Children) is a black belt in Jiu Jitsu was a surprise. I for one, being a Martial Artist, was pleasantly surprised with both the familiar and not so familiar footage of Bruce Lees discussions on philosophy, much of which echo discussions I myself have had with my "Maestro" in Kajukenbo. The film does an excellent job of chronicling Bruce's life, conveying his beliefs and showing the unquestionable impact he has had on movies, martial arts and humanity.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Spoiler Alert!! I just watched a midnight show and I have one word that I think summerizes this film, Evolution. If anybody has ever come across the book of "Genesis", they might remember a line attibuted to god saying, "let us make man in our image". And if you're not religious, then science also suggest that homosapiens have a missing link in our evolutionary scale. What's not to say that some "extra-terrestrial beings" haven't manipulated humans in the past and that the film makers are letting us know that it can happen again. How's that for science fiction?
Yes, I recommend this movie.

"HOME MOVIE!!!"

Unlike other reviewers, I found this movie to be excellent. Yes it is shot as a home video (Blair Witch), hence the supposed lack of "Plot", but when have any of YOUR home movies had a "Plot"? I felt as if I was watching somebodys camcorder tape, and an unbelievable event got caught on tape. Its not suppose to be rocket science, just 90mins of entertainment. And I was very entertained.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
