Hands down the best Superman flick in history. Exceptionally told back story, great character development, and one of the best versions of Superman's conflict with General Zod across all genres. The only thing that I didn't like was how close the camera shots were to action sequences. This caused them to be confusing and muddled. But the balance of the event is so outstanding it still warrants 5 stars.
