Yes, it was sad in several parts - it wouldn't be a Pixar movie if it wasn't - but like my son said, "It was a good sad". I can't believe the level of writing John Lasseter and the rest of the Pixar folks come up with - they are able to tell a great story intelligently without sinking to any kind of bad level, and they are able to breathe fresh life into a franchise and characters we haven't seen for awhile. I will dearly miss Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang, but they also make me pine away for my childhood and all the innocence it held.
