Lived up to the book--and more

I have never liked a movie after having read the book first. This is the one exception! Even after they the evacuated the theater at one of the most climactic moments (fire drill or something--we were allowed back in after about 40 minutes of waiting outside), the audience was still engaged in the action. I also felt that some scenes in the book were played out even better in the film, such as Bell's "talk" with her dad. Nicely done!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
