It reboots Superman quiet nicely. It shows Superman's struggle to grow up with his abilities. Between the cast and action sequences, it feels like a Matrix/Superman mashup. I could have done without the visual confirmation that the kryptonian baby was male, and at times it seems to forget to keep Superman's secret identity a secret.
Pros well paced, great story
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The bulk of the movie is about this guy who does his job while thinking about his retirement. Then all the sudden Morgan Freeman comes along, gives the twist, and rush to a lack luster ending.
The story follows a linear patter, much like the game. simple and obvious dialogue followed by action sequence. The special effects are decent, the zombies don't look goofy and you get to see them clearly. As usual 3D is a waste of money, most of the action happens sideways so very few scenes actually pop out from the screen.
Too much talk, Too predictable. The fights were too short, and their jokes and taunting was beyond lame. The characters were way off from the game. even simple things like wardrobe were off. the hero takes too long looking for her master, a montange would have been better. Pretty much the movie was solved by gun fire. The only good thing was the characters were easy on the eyes, but its best to wait until it comes out on cable.
It's good to see there are still good animation that doesn't have to come from Pixar or Dreamworks. The story movies at a nice pace, to keep viewers interested. There are some scenes that may be not good for little kids, and some "Boo" moments that made my little girls jump, but that's why it got a PG raiting. Overall it was an excellent movie and a good way to teach kids to appreciate their parents. and to teach parents no to ignore their kids.
