This was the best movie of the series so far. Of course, the budget was bigger, since the series has taken off in popularity, but the story here is stronger, and the screenplay truer to the novel. Eclipse is also my favorite book of the series because I feel the characters took on more flesh in this installment, and since they are also maturing in the story, their personalities have more depth and shading. The tension between Jacob and Edward is even more palpable than in the book, and so Bella's dilemma is more believable. I found Rosalie more sympathetic in the movie than in the book, and my only regret is that Alice wasn't featured more, since she is my favorite Cullen besides Edward. I personally would like to have seen more done with the battle scenes, but that might have forced an "R" rating, which would be a shame. All in all, a very enjoyable movie experience, and I will definitely see it again. (I cannot imagine how they are going to keep a PG 13 rating with the last two movies, however)
