Where I saw the film, outside in the lobby the theatre had an array of old video games that matched many of the ones inside the movie. It was great nostalgia in and outside the film for me.
For my kids, they loved the new and the old. The main characters were fun and enjoyable to watch, each actor doing great work to make their role believable.
While not a film I feel needing to be viewed in 3D, it's worth seeing with our without kids. If you see it with young children, do what I did and convince your kids -- "now you now what happens to your Wii games when they're not being played"
