Remember when movies were THIS fun!?

Well I certainly do. I haven't had this much fun at a movie since I can't remember when. This movie had what every good action movie should have. Great bad guys, great over the top action set pieces, great cast overall, cheesy one liners and of course a sexy leading lady with just enough screen time to keep the guys interested, but not muddle the movie with an over melodramatic love story that, lets face it, in action movies, never quite feels like it works.
Stallone knows what his meat eating, beer drinking audience wants to see, blood, fisticuffs and more explosions than most summer action flicks combined.
This was the first time in a long time that an audience actually cheered several times throughout the movie. Something few films move audiences to do (except maybe 300, Dark Knight and Star Wars).
If you want a FUN time at the theater where you can turn your brain off and just cheer along with the crowd. THIS is your film. Enjoy....but don't over think it.
