The film is an absolute delight from start to credits. Including the talents of Alan Silvestri's film score and Robert Zemeckis' writing and direction of Charle's Dickens time honored classic, this is one of the best holiday entertainment treats since "It's A Wonderful Life".
The 3D effects were used judiciously, not overpowering the story itself. The tapestry of mid nineteenth century London set the mood from the very beginning. The voice characterizations of Carrey, Oldman, Firth , et. al., make this a truly marvelous piece of art for the whole family .
