When Twilight was released, I was so excited I could hardly stand it. I had read all the books multiple times, and couldn't wait for it to finally hit theaters. However, when I walked out, I had to go home and re-read the book because I didn't want to forget the way I imagined it. I was very upset with the movie. Thus, my standards have lowered considerably each movie, and coincidentally, I enjoyed New Moon, and Eclipse even more so. With each new directer, I feel the integrity of the book is maintained more and more. David Slade did an excellent job sticking to the book, and even got the cast to improve their acting. Kristin and Rob finally looked somewhat comfortable around each other in this movie, and I wasn't wincing in pain from all the awkward moments of Bella Swan this time either. I'm also glad there was more of the Cullens (even though a lot of funny Emmett moments were cut out). All in all, though sometimes cheesy, this movie was definitely worth seeing, even though somehow my theater MISSED getting to see the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows trailer (and because of that, I think I might need to go see Eclipse again so I can get a chance to see the preview : ) )
