Great Movie, But Not True IMAX

I thought the movie, itself, was GREAT! But I was really disappointed with the "IMAX Experience". I didn't know, until after I had purchased my ticket, that this theater is "Mini IMAX". It certainly was not worth double the price of a regular theater, that I paid. Except for louder sound, I saw no real difference. I'm going to see it again, shortly. This time will be in a real IMAX theater, where the screen will be more than twice as tall and has the true surround-vision. I would caution any reader, who want to see this in IMAX, to check out the theater online, before paying the IMAX price.
Again, the movie was Superb!! The tent scene was extraordinarily well acted. Rob and Taylor are absolutely convincing as the two clashing suitors for Bella's heart. They're like the chivalrous White Knight and the the darkly enticing Black Knight. I must, also, note that Jackson Rathbone is a pleasure to watch in this movie. Finally, he has been given some lines and a part to portray. This "fleshing-out" of Jasper is long overdue. Jackson brings a refined, almost courtly air to his character. One completely in keeping with a Southern gentlemen and officer of the Civil War period. Jasper is intriguing and ruthless, yet able to evoke compassion from the audience as he is compelled to follow his sire's commands. As a Texan, I have to say that his Texas accent sounded genuine. I don't know if his accent is natural or the results of a dialogue coach, but I was so pleased that it didn't sound cheesy. Compliments to Jackson Rathbone for doing so much with his supporting role in this Twilight installment.
I've heard that Eclipse is one of this summer's best. I dunno.....I don't usually go to movies in the theater. I'll probably go to see this one, at least a couple more times. I can hardly wait for the DVD to be released, so that I can pause and replay! And I can hardly wait for "Breaking Dawn I & II" to be released! "You better hold on tight, Spider Monkey!", 'cause it's gonna be a thrill ride!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Eclipsed the First Two Twilight Movies

Loved, loved this movie! Actors were greatly improved. Screen play was terrific! Scenery was astonishing. I haven't seen a movie in a theater in a long, long time....but this one was well worth it!! I am now impatiently waiting for the DVD! I also enjoyed the MSG experience. Pretty cool to have dinner while you're watching a great movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
