Not entertaining considering subject matter. Not very believeable that they would have so many near death escapes. Wait for DVD unless you are a HUGE fan of special effects & if so, then by all means go see just for that. Such a depressing movie for these times with the underlying theme of the only people who would ever survive anything like this have LOTS OF MONEY or KNOW SOMEBODY.
Entertaining enough because of the actors. Story jumps so that you never really get to know the characters well enough to know the motivation behind why they do what they do.
Took my 9 yr old & we loved it. Showed a side of Michael we've not seen---he is normal and more than willing to share the stage & let others have their time in the spotlight. No scripted story to follow, but a great seat to see the rehearsals & how they intended to put the show together. It would have been incredible!
This movie was better than expected. Although you thought you knew what was going to happen and how it was all going to play out it turned out it was better than you thought. Very exciting and action packed. The gross factor is high in a scene or two but it's quick to go. Go see it! Very entertaining.
This was as great as the book I LOVED when I was little although not exactly the same. This is not for little children as they will not get it. I heard many toddlers repeatedly asking their parents what was going on because they didn't undertstand the drama. It was entertaining and moving for adults.
Take the whole family & go. Yes, I know you have it on VHS, DVD, Blu-Ray, whatever, go anyway. It's a double feature & it's better on the big screen & well worth the price. It's rare when the whole family can be entertained. I had forgotten how much fun going to the movies can be. Oh, and stay for the credits after the second movie, the bloopers are great!
This was better than expected. Entertaining and makes you think a little, not too much, about your own relationship. Very fun, a good movie to see with friends or for a date. Really makes you want to go on vacation to Bora Bora!! Don't take tweens, some scenes may be uncomfortable for you both.
This movie was ok. I agree that it is a chick flick disguised as a comedy. I am a person of faith, but no, I was not offended. I laughed with everyone else and as loud. It was predictable because it was the typical romantic comedy plot in a more blunt way of addressing the issues. Funny to see with your friends. Don't waste a date night. (and don't take kids, 13 or otherwise)
Nothing like the original. Lots of music but I can not remember 1 song except the original which they played during the opening intro. No real story or plot to follow. They start each student's story but they never really "tell" the story. They edited so much that I think most of the movie ended up on the cutting room floor. There are a few good scenes, however, no real flow to the scenes. They don't come together well. Very disappointing but good to see some experienced actors as well as some new talent.
This movie was not as funny as I thought it was going to be. The trailer gave most of the jokes away. You end up feeling sorry for her not so much laughing at her. It was average with a predictable ending.
