Chick Flick

Don't see this on a date, he will hate it. Nothing here for guys or kids, just a chick flick. See it with girlfriends and before lunch, when it's cheaper. DO NOT waste a girl's NIGHT out for this movie. Just average with a few funny spots but I agree with the no chemistry between the two leads. The Mommy support group was not funny at all, or I just didn't get it, I suppose. The injured dog added nothing entertaining.

Good Effects

Saw this movie with my family & we all enjoyed it very much. We saw it in just 3D, not IMAX, but I don't feel like I missed out on any effects. The story was interesting, the effects were cool. Take the family for a good time out.

Good for Kids

My 9rd old has read the books & really enjoyed the movie. I thought it was a little slow and could've ended better. Definitely worth the money if your kids like the books.

Good Entertaining Flick

This movie was worth the ticket price. If you are not married with children, you may not see the humor in it. I laughed more than I thought I would. I disagree with the review that stated the best part of the movie was Mark Wahlberg, um...he can't act & his abs are not... so.... fit (am I the only one who noticed?)......anyway, what made his scenes funny was Tina Fey. All in all I would recommend for a "Date Night" if you are married with children, otherwise you just won't get it. Not for kids, they will not find any humor in this.

I really like Depp & really wanted to like this movie more but, to be honest, it just wasn't as great as the hype beforehand. I saw it in 3D & glad I did not spend money on the IMAX.
The characters act as expected but there is nothing special to make this a must see in IMAX movie. Not for small children, there are no characters or animation that will appeal to them. Not too many special effects as far as action.
Entertaining & if you enjoy the story you will like what they have done in the movie. The Queen was actually the best part for me.
See it--- but in the morning & just 3D or less-don't waste money on IMAX.

Good Action &n Worth Seeing

Check all the low reviews & you will see a pattern .....
this was a great action flick with a decent story to tell. There are 2 sides and we finally heard a different view & people don't like it. Don't listen to them--go see this movie if you like war/action/suspense movies, well worth it.

Don't Waste a Date

The movie was not that bad. The production quality was lacking. It was entertaining in spots. I agree the drug dealer was a little over the top, just bad acting. Don't pay full price, see in am or for matinee & see with friends, don't waste a date night.

Good family movie for everyone. Loved Billy Crystal, without him or Julie Andrews the movie wouldn't as been as interesting or funny.

Not Even on DVD

OK- I like offbeat comedies as much as the next person, but, somewhere in the description of this movie could someone have please put in bold letters NOT IN ENGLISH?!. Even the subtitles weren't in English. The people in the theatre who understood this language could not stop laughing, so for that I give 1 star. Overall quality of film looks like students in flim school shot this, only not for a grade. The characters were a little over the top & slightly offensive/stereotypical at times. Do not waste a dime on this.
