Better than New Moon

Eclipse was more interesting, more visually vibrant, had more action, and flowed better than New Moon. It still suffers from incredibly slow dialogue scenes that could have been cut in half without losing anything. For my taste it had too much kissing and petting, and I think it would be inappropriate for younger kids. The acting is superficial and stiff, and there were way too many pointless lingering close-ups of the stars, whom I think are neither very attractive nor very talented. I would not go to the trouble of renting it or seeing it again.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
