i was very pleased with the movie overall. it stayed true to the book i think as best it could have without needing an intermission. the casting was well done. the emotion conveyed in the book i think was very well played. even having had read the book and knowing exactly what was going to happen it was still exciting the whole way through.
bravo! can't wait for the rest of the series to be brought to visual fruition!

cant wait for part 2. i thought part 1 ended in a very reasonable stopping point. i really hope that theaters offer a showing of part 1 to show before the midnight showing of part 2. i would have stayed for the 5-6 hours it would have taken to show the book in its entirety.
