My husband and I enjoyed this movie. It kept your interest with the story telling approach, a good amount of excitement and some great cinematography. It hits some too calm of water in spots, but overall a good show.
Pros well paced, great story, interesting visual effects
We had been a roll with great movies when we decided to go see Tinker. Should have stayed home or gone to see something else. I had not read the book and was totally lost from beginning to end. The movie jumped from one scene to the next with little dialogue and no clue as to why you were seeing what you were seeing. You should only go if you want to pay $10 for a nap in a dark theater.
My husband and I enjoyed this movie very much. It had a very good story line and was well-acted be everyone. It is about a sad situation, so if you are looking for an entertaining pick-me-up, this isn't it. But, if you like well done story telling, you won't regret seeing The Descendants.
My husband and I had heard this was a pretty good movie, but we were very disappointed. Slow moving story. Not much of anything drawn to conclusion. Just 27 million dead people, but you never even know what happens to some of the main characters, what really happens with the virus, etc.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It was very consistent with the book, which I had read and enjoyed. The audience was cheering for "The Help" which is a wonderful statement for how much things have changed since what was happening during the timeframe of the book. The movie was fairly long, but kept our attention throughout was a great pace, funny moments, and outstanding characters.
My husband and I found the movie better than the reviews. It was pretty entertaining with good acting, lots of action, and a decent storyline. Not Academy Award material, but not a bad way to spend a couple of hours, either. The special affects, alternative planets, and unusual beings were well done.
We enjoyed this movie immensely. Good story line, made you care about the characters, lots of action. Kept our interest throughout. Good acting by everyone. If you like action movies, you should go see this.
Wow. This is really a well done movie. It takes a true story and adds drama, personalities and an historical timeframe to get to know the future King George VI. The acting by Colin Frith and Geoffrey Rush were great and Helena Bonham Carter did a great job as the supportive wife. I would definitely suggest you take the time to see this movie.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It had an involving story line and was well acted by all the main characters. Christian Bale was especially good.
